Nathan is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and Professional Valuer, without restrictions, at the South African Council of Valuers. Nathan holds a BSc & BSc (Hons) Property Studies at the University of Cape Town and began his valuation career upon graduation. His current skills include the construction of complex valuation models and calculators in order to ensure that valuation compliance meets the highest standard of reporting in his efforts. Nathan has trained many valuers through their pathway in becoming fully qualified in this field.

  • Registered as a Professional Valuer with the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession

Jan Louis is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst. He has worked for various businesses to the likes of, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Barclays PLC, and Wells Fargo. Furthermore, he has been part of and instrumental in several Start-up businesses over the years, such as, Templewood Partners LLP and Africa Merchant Capital Limited. The Most recent of his undertakings has been that of West Peak Investments (PTY) LTD. It has been through West Peak that Jan Louis has joined with Heroic Consulting as an Executive Director bring to the table:

• Broad business start-up and management experience from concept to business plan, fund raising, team building, culture development, commercialisation, sales and marketing and business management across all functions

  • 11+ years strategic corporate finance advisory experience including client and investor closing and relationship management
  • Cross border transactions for clients and for internal structures, including currency, regulatory, compliance, banking, and legal aspects
  • Systems implementations and management, including customisation of a lending software package
  • Wide ranging commercial and legal negotiations and closing

Yolandi is a registered Professional Valuer, without restrictions, at the South African Council of Valuers and a Associate RICS member. She qualified with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree (BSc Hons) in Real Estate from the University of Pretoria. Her current skills include due diligent valuations and property advisory within South Africa, and Sub- Saharan Africa. She has extensive knowledge in all valuation methods and covers a variety of fields, including the specialised property areas of filling stations, places of entertainment, game lodges, rent reviews, including land valuations with their relevant associated rights and developments thereof. Yolandi has also undertaken several valuations for listed funds and financial statement purposes.

Prior to joining HEROIC Consulting, Yolandi worked as a Senior Valuer at Broll Valuations and Advisory Services.

Sean is a registered Candidate Valuer and is currently studying toward a Diploma in Real Estate. He is also a qualified theological pastor and remains actively involved in ministry. Before entering pastoral work, he studied Christian Psychology. Sean has worked in the fields of construction and sales for a number of years, and his broad experience has shaped a strong, client-focused approach. He now heads up new business development at Heroic Consulting (PTY) Ltd, while also leading the Property Management division of the company. In this capacity, he currently manages the Building Control Management contract for Kelderhof Country Village in Somerset West, Western Cape. Sean provides strategic support to the Heroic team in the following areas:
